Why Proud To Be An INDIAN?

 1. Indians live with their parents: Yes most of us do live with them even after completing high school. And we aren't ashamed of it. Because we care for them and so do they.. The relationship between us is intimate..

Once,Aishwarya Rai, in her show with David Letterman said “yeah, it's fine to live with our parents. Moreover, we don't take appointment to meet our parents for dinner”..

2. India is not only Taj Mahal: yeah, Taj Mahal is a center attraction of our country. but it doesn't mean there no other places to visit. If you'd spend time to travel, it takes ages and still be unfinished…

3. All Indian foods are spicy: No, keeping aside the fact of being the land of spices. There are plenty of desserts and dishes which make anyone salivate which aren't spicy..

4. Movies: we Indians are cinephiles. We idiolize the actors as gods. Every celebration or emotion in our lives is linked with movies…

5. All Indians are Hindus, no god no…India is a country of multiple religions and cultures. It is a secular country with no state religion..

6. Cricket: it's our religion. It's a part of our life. One will definitely encounter street cricket played everywhere..

7. Marriages: weddings in India are made in heaven. The celebration, fun, the foods and the entertainment is something that one cannot see anywhere.. It's a delight..

8. India isn't completely a hot country. Ever been to Shimla or Ooty?? The temperature varies over the regions. It isn't factual to tell India is a hot country

9. Education: India is home to some of the most brilliant minds. They range from CEOs to scientists and many more…

10. Literature: India has a rich literature with Mahabharata being our largest epic. India has produced some splendid novels ranging from legendary Geetanjali to campus novels like Three mistakes of my life..

11. Tea lovers: Tea most commonly called “Chai” by us is our elixir. One of the most favorite beverage of Indians. The varieties of tea in India are Countless.

Edit 1: I intentionally mentioned about Chetan bhagat's novel. But, not to compare it with Geetanjali. Just to tell the varied genres.

Man!! It was a lame joke…it was a stupid satire…

Don't create a fuss about it.They are both at opposite ends of a spectrum…
